Infosys was a Sapphire-level sponsor at SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference, which was held in Orange County Convention Center from May 5 to May 7. The event witnessed three days of nonstop networking, collaboration, learning, meeting, and discussing several ways that SAP solutions can improve the way your enterprise works. Over the course of three days, more than 2,200 people visited the Infosys booth. We participated in joint sessions with clients on trending topics such as SAP HANA, Fiori and HCM. Visitors to our booth experienced innovative solutions, in addition to enjoying the F1 car simulator and getting sketched by an award-winning digital caricaturist. In honor of our clients and partners, we also hosted a cocktail reception. We invite you to relive your Sapphire memories through this brief summary.

Every year since 2011, Infosys has been a Sapphire-level sponsor of this conference. We are a global services partner for SAP and we continue to invest heavily in our relationship with the company over the years.

Speaking Sessions

This year, we have had the opportunity to showcase some of our best work with blue-chip companies such as Airbus, Daimler, and PG&E – to name a few. We also got to introduce what is perhaps the newest addition to the Infosys family – Panaya, a leading provider of automation technology – which had its executives on hand to discuss some of the work they have done with leading global companies. They even led a micro-forum using Newell Rubbermaid as a fascinating case study.

Recognizing the success of our implementation, Infosys was invited by SAP to showcase its own story of rolling out SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA to more than 150,000 users using SAP Fiori UX.

Another highlight this year was a joint session on SAP Simple Finance on HANA by Infosys experts along with our partner Virtustream.

Infosys SMEs conducted 2 well attended demo sessions on a pricing solution running on SAP HANA platform and an HANA code optimization solution to accelerate migrations.

Cocktail Reception

The official Infosys cocktail reception on Tuesday evening at the nearby Hyatt Regency provided an ideal opportunity for 110 clients to connect with peers and spark conversations with experts who drive transformative strategies for enterprise success. The audience was enthralled by the special performance from Mark Strauss and Stratosphere Jazz band. The band played unobtrusive and energetic background music at the reception.

Virtustream also hosted a cocktail jointly with Infosys, Cisco, EMC and VCE as part of a gala networking evening regaling numerous clients and partners.

Fun@Infosys booth

It wasn’t all business and no pleasure at Sapphire. The F1 car simulator was a major hit with visitors taking time off to hone their racing skills. Parrot AR Drone Quadricopters were given away as daily prizes to pole position winners. In addition, our visitors were thrilled at getting sketched by award-winning digital caricaturist, Angie Jordan. View collection
